Dianne Ashford, Atlanta native, graduated from Walter F. George High School then attended Florida A&M University where she received a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Upon graduation, she was recruited by and accepted a position with SBC Communications, Inc. (now AT&T) in St. Louis, MO. While there she enjoyed many years filled with promotions and accolades, but after 6 years in the corporate world, she decided to pursue a career in the arts. Taking a thirty-day leave of absence to work on Rainforest Films' Trois 2: Pandora's Box as an intern for acclaimed Producer Will Packer, the experience was so valuable and intriguing that Dianne immediately resigned from her corporate job and embarked on a new career as a film producer.
In 2003, Dianne and former producing partner Angi Bones, co-founded Symmetry Entertainment. The two produced several projects together before deciding to part ways to pursue other endeavors. Dianne maintained ownership of Symmetry and since then, this FAMU-alum's star has been rising in the film and television industry as a well sought-after production manager and producer. Her credits include, but are not limited to: Ride Along, Creed, Stomp the Yard 2, Echo at 11 Oak Drive, The Game, Survivor's Remorse, Ambitions, Miracles Across 125th Street, Single Drunk Female S2, Mea Culpa, Divorce in the Black and Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
